I'll link other artists who are here in this post. We shared our work last night through an informal talk alongside images. It's inspiring, and was good to get out of my own head space for a spell. This woman makes amazingly simple but profound work. I share a studio floor with this woman who is making some stunning drawings this week. Still very soon in the process and it feels like camp. Since I'm only here 2 weeks, and not the full 4 week time, I feel some urgency to be in the studio, but torn to also connect with others. Image is a little pink tack I found on the wall of the white studio. I'm thinking of another large self portrait, and some festoons have been happening. More later.
